D. Andrew “Drew” Howell was a life time resident of Chapel Hill, NC for four and half decades. He attended UNC-CH where he graduated with a BA in Economics and English. Once graduated, he received his NC real estate license and began representing sellers in the residential market in 1989. In 1991 Howell transitioned to commercial real estate brokerage and office management working for Allen & O’Hara. In 1993 Howell and partners started Graham Associates, Ltd.,(GAL) a full service commercial real estate company. GAL specialized in landlord representation for office and retail properties providing management and leasing services in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Wilmington, NC. By 1996, Howell completed course work and requisite case work for a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. After 10 years, Drew stepped away from day to day operations of GAL to start a real estate investment entity, Capstone Ventures. GAL soon after merged with Grubb & Ellis affiliate, Thomas and Linderman. Howell has held a board position in the newly formed company, Thomas, Linderman, Graham (TLG) since inception.
By 2011, Howell teamed up with former TLG director of development, Mark Moshier, to create Legacy Real Property Group. Having over 25 years as a licensed real estate professional in all aspects of sales, leasing, management, development and construction, Drew brings to Legacy RPG a vetted experience that befits the name. In his personal life, as with the companies he runs, Drew values faith, family, friends and fitness. Married over 25 years with four children, he stays actively involved in supporting ministries and charitable organizations both personally and through his and his wife’s foundation. Howell is currently putting his fitness and recreational skills to the test while he and his family live in Park City, UT.
